Hydrogen is a electropositive and electronegative and it shows electropositivity when it is liquid or solid this type of hydrogen is found in core of the planet Jupiter as it is coolest planet and shows metallic properties but is shows electronegativity when it is in gaseous form and it shows non metallic properties.Because it has 1 outermost electron and and its valency is 1 but it can only gain electron but cannot lose it, hence it is placed in the First group. Hence it is electroposite
