hydrogen is non metal because it doent show the properties of metal like ducktile,strong,shinny,conduct electricity etc

hydrogen doesn't even have a fixed position in the periodic table.
hydrogen has both +1 and -1 as valencies.
So still, hydrogen is not confirmed as metal or non metal chemically.
but in physical properties, it is non metal
