2. A big terminal is used which is moved at very high potential .
3. The water is passed through the terminal which is moving with help of electricity .
4. The speed of the terminal with water generate electricity .
5. Big dam are been used for this process .

How does solar power work :-

1. Solar plates are arranged in front of sun rays .
2. Solar plates absorb sunlight .
3. These plates absorb Sun lights are used for production of electricity .
4. Very less energy is used and it is no need to be maintained .

Reason for No:-

1. Electricity is needed in hydro power where as in solar panel no any type of energy is used .
2. Big dams are made for production of electricity by hydropower where as solar plates can be fixed in small area without any maintenance it can also be fixed in the roof of the houses .
3. Hydropower are very expensive where as solar plates are not that expensive.
