Indian idol is a reality show in India for inventing singing talents, inspired from the American idol.

Like other reality shows, it too has its pros and cons.

The advantages being various singers get the platform to sing and get noticed on a national level.

The disadvantages being unnecessary pressure is put on the youths and many of them cannot take rejection sportingly which take them to depression.
