Theory :-
As remainder theorem suggests, if p(x) is a polynomial divided by (x - a), the remainder left is p(a)
Solution :-
Since, the remainders are same.
So,
a(3)² + 4(3)² + 3(3) - 4 = (3)³ - 4(3) + a
or, 9a + 36 + 9 - 4 = 27 - 12 + a
or, 8a +45 - 4 = 15
or, 8a = 15 - 41
or, 8a = -26
or, a = (-13)
(8)
