Answer:

Inertia is a force which brings all objects to a rest position. All objects have inertia. A more massive object has more inertia than a less massive object. Fast-moving objects have more inertia than slow-moving objects.

Answer:

Inertia is a force which brings all objects to a rest position. All objects have inertia. A more massive object has more inertia than a less massive object. Fast-moving objects have more inertia than slow-moving objects.

Explanation:

Inertia is a property or a tendency of a body to resist the motion of the physical object or body. No, all bodies don’t have same inertia, rather they have different inertial mass. We know that momentum is defined as product of mass and acceleration that it possesses. Here, mass is nothing but inertial mass that gives a brief description of tendency of body to be in state of rest or in motion.

Consider a pencil box and a brick. Both are moving with same velocity, but when we tend to stop the object, more force is required to bring back the brick to rest. But pencil box can be easily stopped. Here, inertia of object played a major role in defining its momentum. Hence, not all the object have the same tendency to be in same state of rest or in motion
