YES,

instantaneous velocity is always tangential to the path

REASON:- WHEN YOU WILL STUDY CALCULUS. YOU WILL GET TO KNOW!!

ANSWER ON THE BASIC OF CLASS 11TH CIRCULAR MOTION IS AS FOLLOWS::------

================================================================

because at any instant of time, or path when you will choose the derivative dy/dx

you will get a TANGENT velocity firection perpendicular to the radius!!

and also,it will be a maximum in that interval!!

hope this will help you.

thanks!!
