Yes , it is correct to say that matter is continuous in nature. At first everyone thought that matter was particulate in nature as matter was made up of atoms and movement of atoms was at first considered only particle like. but then de Broglie's dual nature concept said that every sub atomic matter has two nature wave like and particle like .

So, if we take the nature of atom to be particle like then matter is particulate.

but if we take the nature of atom to be wave like then matter is continuous.
