Anaerobic respiration

Explanation:

  • Lactate / Lactic acid, is a result of anaerobic respiration. This kind of respiration produces energy in the absence of oxygen.
  • Excess of lactic acid in the muscle cells leads to spasms and muscle cramps. Therefore it is clearly not a good idea for anaerobic respiration to happen for a long time.
  • In order to get rid of excess accumulation of lactic acid , one must breath deep to allow more oxygen to enter the cells so that aerobic respiration can take place.
  • Stretching the muscles by practicing certain stretching exercises can release the fatigue caused due to muscle spasm or cramp.
  • Also fluid intake can eliminate lactic acid . Therefore , consuming liquids and juices can prevent anaerobic respiration.
