Is it a merit or demerit To do JEE preparation without doing class 11-12?
Means if I don't do class 11-12 and just prepare for JEE, will it be helpful???

No it never give u success dear because all the basic that we have to read in class 11th and 12th ..it's very important for both JEE and NEET.....

I'm a dropper. IIT is something but not everything. My score was really poor in class 12. 86.2% in cbse 78 in mains. Scored 80 in adv( below the cutoff). Actually I took everything casually. Then I decided to go for a drop.
I was highly motivated , infact all the other students of my coaching(iitians pace) batch were full with positive energy and zeal. There is a problem with droppers batch. In my city there was just a single batch, students with compartment in board, etc were present. Few were good.There is no reshuffling on the merit basis. Droppers batch was just a source of income for the institute in my case. Teachers esp. senior faculties used to teach with a mindset that results are average from droppers every year. At the begining ie. July the speed was slow. Then it acclarated to fast via moderate. Many topics of class 12 was omitted. Few topics like optics and Ac were completed in 10 hrs class.
This year the results of almost all the students are better than last year( 2015).
I also have friends who didn't joined any coaching institute. Just one of them has performed well. Rest have not qualified for adv . My schoolmates who studied in reputed institutes in kota have the same condition. Students who were already above average did excellent this year.
I have consulted many people, there is no issue with placement. In IIT B tag is enough for job offers. I'll suggest you to take a drop from a reputed institution if you have made up your mind. Sit in all the test. Be motivated work hard as a champion there is no substitute for hard work. Be sincere. See friend Nadela is not from IIt. Drop will buy you more time to revise your old subjects build a better base in chemistry. Solve more mathematics which is the most important ingredient in all the popular examination.
