No, there are no difference is the long form of periodic table and modern periodic table.

- The first concept of periodic table was given by Mendeleev. But the early representation of the periodic table given by Mendeleev was incomplete and full of errors in the elements arrangement.

- Later,that incomplete periodic table was rewritten according to the electronic configuration of the elements.

- This rewritten version of periodic table was longer than the Mendeleev's periodic table due to addition of several newly added elements.

- This new version of periodic table is known as the long form of periodic table which we use nowadays as the modern periodic table.
