Is it better to use blending stamp or cotton bud for smudging?

blending stamp will give good results..it will not give an odd look..but buds give texture which at times may send odd..

It's up to you. Personally, I prefer to use cotton bud because though it does not give the same smooth result as blending stamp, it gives it that final artistic touch.
