Is it compulsury to note down the steps of construction when constructing anything?

if it is specified to write the steps then it is compulsory if not it is not compulsory.

Yeah.... most of the questions carry marks for steps of construction. But it is not necessary to learn the steps.... just remember the steps you used to construct and then write them in your own words.
