(a) a1/a2=b1/b2 =c1/c2

1/2=-4/-8=-6/-12
so,2x^2-8x-12=0

(b) a1/a2 not equal to b1/b2

1/2 is not equal to -4/6
so,2x^2+6x+6=0

hope this helps you..

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

co-incident equation

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

a1=1

b1=4

c1=6

then a2= 2

       b2=8

       c2= 12

intersecting line

a1/a2≠b1/b2

ai =1

b1 =4

a2 =3

b2 =6

hope it help
