With reference to Act 1 Scene 3, we can say that Banquo is quite cautious by temperament while macbeth gets easily excited. In their answers and choices the difference is. Both heard the witch's prophecy that Macbeth would be king; yet the children of Banquo would be kings. Macbeth agreed to act on it. Banquo chooses not to do anything about prophecy. In the end, the acts of Macbeth led to the assassination of Banquo, but his son, Fleance fled.
Explanation:
- If anything, Macbeth and Banquo are puzzled. Banquo's totally not nervous. There is no evidence to prove that he feels any fear. Banquo does not believe the witch sisters, claiming that they are the wrong creature. Banquo first heard, talked to the witches, expressing his hatred and disgust. While in other cases Banquo is milder and more patient than Macbeth, he is still rude and dismissive about witches. He makes his ignorance clear even though he asks them to predict his future
- The prophecies of the witches, on the other hand, confuse Macbeth. However, Macbeth, according to Banquo, starts or flinches. Flinch Macbeth shows his reaction to his being identified as Cawdor Thane and the announcement that he is going to be king. Flinch is like withdrawing from pain and expected pain to relax the muscles unconsciously before painful situations. Tenses up and withdraws, Macbeth retracts.
- Macbeth can flip because he knows instantly what it would take to destroy the present King. His second thoughts reveal in Act 1.7 that he refuses to do so. Because he hates it. Although, it suggests that Macbeth was still talking about what would take Macbeth to be king when he interacted with the witches.. That is why he is responding instantly to the forecasts. He knows what it will cost him to become a king.
