The environmental degradation should be carried out worldwide and it knows no national boundaries. Like, we can take an example of rising temperature everywhere due to the global warming. It results in the melting of an ice in the solar caps and raise the sea level. This process ultimately harms the life of people, who are living near the islands. So the island nations can suffer from the casualties caused due to global warming.

Answer:

Environmental degradation is not just a national issue as all the nations of the world need to work together to properly solve it. For example, the overuse of fossil fuels will not stop if only India slows down their use. The entire world will need to coordinate and work together if we wish to use resources like fossil fuels in a sustainable manner. This is why many worldwide organisations have been formed to combat these sorts of issues.
