is it correct to write √2k or k√2? In what cases can we use which of these? Please give a perfect and reliable answer​

√2k implies that the answer is the square root of 2k

And k√2 implies that the answer is k multiplied with root 2

Let k = 8

Then √2k = √16 = 4

In case of k√2 we get

8√2 = 8×1.41 = 11.28
