is it correct when anything is melt it take latent heat from surrounding. How?

When we melt something, its state changes from solid to liquid. This is possible because the solid absorbs some heat during the change of state which is usually ignored. This is called latent heat. Hope it helps

Yes it is correct when anything melts it takes lattent heat of surrounding
