it's definitely not essential to dream high... dream should be the one which satisfy & make you happy.
once you find your passion/dream you get the way to your aim/destination
now which is left is only hard work, skill development, and that zeal for your dream would be really helpful in achieving your goal

Yes, it is very very essential to dream high, dream big, dream something totally different.
It is essential because if you want to achieve something, you must have a vision of that thing. If you do not have a vision or a goal, you can never achieve anything.

BUT, you will have to be willing to work ridiculously hard to make them come true.
No shortcuts, no pace, no help. Its all on you. You have to work hark with determination and passion to make your dreams come true.
