is it important that after rubbing the glass rod against silk cloth tje rod will aqire + charge and silk cloth will aquire - charge

Here is you answer......

It is so because of losing electron by the certain objects.

If a object holds it elctron and allowing it to flow to other object while rubbing, hence the object gain the electron from other other object and thus they amount of electron {negative charge} will increase and thus they equire negetive charge . For an example the glass rod allow to its electron while rubbing ,to the silk . Thus , the glass rod have left positive charge only and hence, they equire positive charge and the silk gain the more electron hance silk equire negative charge .....
