Is it important to be a part of any political party to become an MLA? Justify with points

Legislative assembly is vidhan sabha,the legislative body to govern a state,just as we have look sabha,the legislative body to govern the country.......So,technically you need a political party to become an existing party,it can be a party with just you as a member.....
