Yes... As a student if u have time after ur selfstudy then U can.... But it is not necessary.from board point of view it is not necessary but do it for increase UR ability and confidence..

Yes you have to do all the exercises in spite of you selecting basic math. The only difference between you and the one who have selected advanced math is that you have to practice only the entire textbook while the latter has to practice HOTS questions as well which we can get only from other guides or reference books
