because u belong to a country who is given a name of a ocean and the reason is as india is a peninsular country so it is also powerful and most of the work to increase its efficiency is by india that is why and also india is most preciouscountry of asia also that is why its named as indian ocean.

yes it is justified of naming indian ocean after our country because most of the export or import in our country holds through this ocean . it is the base of our country's economy.
