Yes it i isimportant to recrystallize a compound obtained from a reaction .

1】firstly after obtaining a compound from a chemical reaction we generally crystallize it that is we form crystals of organic compound .

●In this atom and molecules are highly organized in solid structure know as crystals and is done by either freezing or precipitating from solution.

2】secondly crystals formed are recrystallize as it is used to purify substances or compound obtained by reaction .

●It is done by dissolving both impurities and compound in appropriate solvent so desired compound is obtained and impurities can be removed.

So recrystallization is important after a compound is obtained from reaction so that we get pure crystals of our compund and yield of compound produced from reaction can be done accurately without any impurities.
