It is actually advised to sleep for 8 hours for adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Science says that when we sleep, our brain removes most of the toxins from our body.
That is why we forget things that had taken place yesterday... we feel fresh after a nice sleep.
Also it is advices not to be in a bad mood before going to sleep because that has bad mood continues the next day too.
