Suppose a body moves in a circular path in uniform motion then its speed will be constant but its velocity will varries due to the change in direction permanently and hence feels acceleration. So the answer is speed .

Yes, it is. For example lets take the example of uniform circular motion with a fixed centre and radius, when the object gets accelerated it covers equal amount of distance in equal intervals of time, it's also change the direction of motion continuously .
Example :- A person catching any object tied up with a rope and moving the object in a circular motion.
