A body can have a zero acceleration only in condition of variable or Constant velocity. Constant velocity means Initial velocity be equal to Final Velocity. Or when object is in state of rest
We have formula for acceleration :
Now put v = u
And Remember
- Acceleration can be negative as well as positive .
- Acceleration can be zero even.
- It's S.I unit is m/s².
- It is defined as rate of change of velocity.
- It is a vector quantity.
