Is it possible for a system to have both kinetic and potential energy at the same time? Give reason.

Yes it is possible. For example :a flying bird. A flying bird has has motion therefore, it has kinetic energy and while flying it's feathers contracts and relaxes which leads to change in its shape therefore while flying it has potential energy as well.
