no ,the human beings or any living things cannot survive without soil because it helps us indirectly, living things need food to live, food come from plants and animals ,the animal eat the plants show plants need soil to grow if there is no soil plants can't grow if plants don't grow we don't get food and animals also don't get food so we need soil to survive

Yes Indeed, Soil is the major part of natural resources but thinking in a direct way, we could conclude that Humans, Animals and marine animals doesnt require soil to live of their own. But they do depend on soil in an indirect way.

As we all know, plants and animals are the base of every food chain, which are well dependent on soil for their growth. So, we humans as well as other living organisms such as animals depend mostly upon soil for their growth, especially herbivores.
