Is it possible that some force is acting on a body but still the work done is zero?

YES....

As work=force×displacement.

This conditiom can be happened when the displacement and force are perpendicular to each other.

Example.

A lady carrying pot on his head and moving forward.

Here work done by pot is zero as force(gravity) is perpendicular to displacement covered by it.
