Is it possible to construct a triangle with length of its side 7 cm 8 cm and 5 cm. Give reason of answer

no, (we can check it by pythagorus theorem)
as the longest lenght will be the hypotenuse,
HERE 2 MEANS SQUARE
therefore the formula is =(hypotenuse)2=sumof the square of other two sides

(8)2=(7)2+(5)2
64=49+25
64IS NOT equal to 74!

Yes because in a triangle sum of two sides is greater than third side.
If ABC is a triangle where
AB=7cm
BC=8cm
CD=5cm
AB+BC>CD 7+8>5
BC+CD>AB 8+5>7
AB+CD>BC 7+5>8
Hence it is possible to construct a triangle with given measures.
