You need energy to magnetize a permanent magnet. Is it possible to get this energy back by demagnetizing it, e.g. in some kind of special spinning generator?

Note: I don't mean induction, like with a non-permanent magnet inside a coil, where you create a magnetic field with a current and if you turn off the current, the magnetic field collapses and induces a current. I mean permanent magnets like a neodymium magnet.

energy is, of course, not created but work can be harnessed; read on the subject adiabatic demagnetizaton using magnetocaloric materials to make refrigerators, for example.
