is it possible to find out adulteration of kerosene in petrol with evaporation technique?

yes while petrol vaporises first then we can separate each

Yes, off course. Adulteration of kerosene in petrol can be detected by evaporation (particularly fractional distillation).

● Explanation -
- Petrol & kerosene evaporate at different temperatures and therefore can be separated by fractional distillation.
- Petrol sample is heated with gradually increasing thr temperature.
- Petrol boils at 150℃, thus will evaporate first & can be collected.
- Kerosene will boil at 200℃, thus can br collected later.
- This is how presence of kerosene in petrol sample can be detected.
