No, it is actually not possible to surrender without expressing the idea that why you are surrendering. It may be other reason if you just sit up from a debate and leave it either it is not completed. But it will considered as you loosed. Once, you have started a debate you have to express each idea in front of the audience that why are you telling so. You have to tell about the reason behind it also. And of you are surrendering, then you must have to express the idea also that why you surrendered. It may be because you accept that your opponent has more strong idea than of yours. Or it may be that you couldn't express your ideas in the debate.

For Example, If you are in a debate and you are told to express your opinions about Child Labour. And you have choosen the opposition side to prove that child labour is right. But in the mid of debate you came to know that the your opponent is right, then you have to surrender and express that why child labour is wrong. So, that the public should have the idea that what is truth and what is wrong.
