- When a file contains a ".html" or ".htm" then that file is a html file which can be opened on an browser you are currently using
- for example consider in you localdisk c there is a file called "index.html"
- if you want to open that file for viewing it, right click the file and chooce open with option and select any browser you like for example "chrome"
- if you want to open the file and edit the code, right click the file and choose open with option and select notepad.
- so that now you can edit the html page if you want
