Is it right Mr and Mrs bramble to hide secrets from Harold?

Yes it was right as they are protective towards their son and are not willing to take risk of telling their son the truth of Bramble'so profession.

I think that it is right to hide the truth of his father profession from him. They hide this truth from him because they think that Harold being prodigy child may not except his father profession.
