Is it right or not ?

i think that it is wrong because 100/3 = 33.3333333.......goeson and have repeating decimal expansion so it is rational no.

now please all of you tell me .........

Yes it is a rational number as if the value of denominator will be 0 so it will not be a rational number.

ya it follows all the definition of rational numbers.

1. any rational number can be written in the form of p/q where q is not equal to 0.

2. rational numbers recurring and terminate after decimal. if the number is not terminating but repeating then it can be to rational number .

your question is not terminating but repeating hence it is a rational number
