It is wrong .

Right answer is -

x = 125.3 bar
10x = 1253.3 bar
10x - x = 1253.3 bar - 125.3 bar
9x = 1128 ( .3 bar get cancelled )
so , x = 1128 / 9

Answer:

It is wrong .

125.333.... = \frac{376}{3}

Explanation:

Given rational number 125.333...

Let x = 125.333....---(1)

Multiply equation (1) by 10, we get

10x = 1253.333....----(2)

Now ,

subtract equation (1) from (2) , we get

=> 9x = 1128

\implies x = \frac{1128}{9} /* p/q form */

Writing in least form, we get

\implies x = \frac{3\times 376}{3\times 3}

\implies x = \frac{376}{3}

Therefore,

125.333... = \frac{376}{3}
