No , do not put restrictions on them , instead just tell the reason for why they should do the specified task. Cause I myself is a child,so I can relate that when elders put a lot of restrictions on children , they start feeling stressed up . They love their families but when parents do these actions , they began feeling awkward and thus they start getting aggressive on small things. Rather parents should give them love when they shout and teach them the correct need
