No, it isn't safe for a wild animal or even an domestic animal to be kept in a cage because as we all are experiencing that staying at home during lock down is very tough for even us humans and we are expecting animals to stay caged. An experiment has proven that staying locked somewhere can damage or brain cells and can stop us from being in a good mood. Animals which are locked in a cage for to long can experience mood swings and fits. This is the reason why animals which are caged for to long when are released cause a tantrum and they can even attack us humans as they loose their brain cells which help them to think and understand under which situation they are. So, I would conclude by stating that it is unsafe for a wild animal to be kept in a cage.
