Is it true that for concentrated acids the state symbol used is (s) for aqueous

no absolutely not!

  • concentrated is depicted by /Conc./ like Conc. HCl, Conc. H2SO4
  • symbol (s) is used to show that the substance used in the chemical reaction is in its solid state
  • aqueous is shown in the symbol (Aq.)
