Yes it is true that gender division is not based on biology but on social expectations and stereotypes. Today our society is male dominated because people thought man is more powerful and can do any work with more efficiency than women.

1. This type of divison is based on social expectation and stereotypes.

2. We can observe se xual divison of labour in most families where women do all the household works and mens not.

3. In most of the societies role of women is minimal, whereas they constitute half of the humanity.
