yes tey cells respire because the are nothing but the very important for a multicellular organism because as cells are the building block of multicellular organism they are decided themselves into organelles which a single cell carry out all the process including respiration because we know that more no. of cells arranged together to form tissues and then they are organised to form organs and then into organism which helps in many intracellular and external works . so if the cell doesn't respire then the cell will die , in case of cell the organnels they carry out all the life processes of the cell

Yes it's true that living cells can respire themselves.

experiment

+ take two lime water containing test tubes.

+ in one test tube blow air from your mouth and in second test tube blow air with pichkari.

+ you will notice that air from our mouth changes lime water in Milky colour and air from pichkari changes lime water in less Milky colour.
