In honey bees fertilized egg grow either into queen or worker. Un
fertilized egg develop into male called as drones. Queen bee has two set of chromosomes one from father and one from mother. They have no father. The first set drones again can give a set of chromosomes to his daughter. Which became a queen. Queen again can lay egg which forms drones. This second set of drones are the grandsons of first set drones
