No, it is false. It has been a long accepted myth but it has now been debunked! In PET scans, MRI scans etc, every region of the brain lights up while performing even a mundane task like walking or picking a pen.
No matter what Scarlet Johansson had you believe in Lucy, but it is false that we use only 10% of our brain and the lasting of this myth is hysterical.
We only "understand" 10% of our brain, not "use" only 10 % of it.
