My mother also told me a story in which this happens. But in my personnel opinion i believe that Human Beings don't have souls. Even Science say that there is no soul in a human body. Our whole body is controlled by you. Your brain performs all the task of your body with a perfection but even your brain don't know that how it performs all the task.
