It is False. The Dipole moment value of SO2 molecule is 1.61 Debye.
Sulphur dioxide (SO2) is a bent molecule with Sulphur atom in the middle and the two oxygen atoms on the sides, one connected by a double bond and with the other oxygen ion by a single bond.
The difference in electronegativity of S and O is 1. So, the dipole moment created in S - O in case of SO2 atom will not be zero. Also, since the shape of SO2 is bent, dipole moments add up vectorically.
