Is it true to say that the pair of equations 2x + 3y = 5 and -x + 2y = 7 has a unique solution? Justify your answer.​

2x + 3y - 5 = 0....(1)

-x + 2y -7 = 0....(2)

Here, a1 = 2, b1 = 3, c1 = -5

a2 = -1, b2 = 2, c2 = -7

a1/a2 = 2/-1, b1/b2 = 3/2

a1/a2 ≠ b1/b2

Therefore, the pair of linear equations has a unique solution.
