No,lactobacilli is not a harmful bacteria, indeed it is a type of friendly bacteria.


It lives in your body but doesn't cause any diseases, instead it helps in breaking down food, absorbing nutrients, resist infection in the gastrointestinal tract.


It is easily found in children. It also helps in making curd from milk.

Lactobacillious is a gram positive genus bacteria which posses no harm.We call these lactobacillious bacteria as friendly bacteria. But why we call them friendly?. Because they live within us. They can be found in genital system, urinary system and even in digestive system. They also live in some food substance that we consume regularly like diary products.

Not only they live within us without causing any disease they can even cure some diseases like diarrhea and irritable bowel. They can be also used against skin disorders.
