we know that kinetic energy is directly related to temperature
latent heat doesn't increase the Kinetic energy as no change of temperature takes place
latent heat only increases the potential energy which helps in change of state

no..... bcoz latent heat increase potential. energy not kinetic energy....... that's why latent heat does not increase the temperature
